In another life I might have been a criminal profiler, a jazz drummer, an architect, an acrobat, an actor, or a children’s book illustrator.”
I’ve dedicated myself to one thing: writing. I’ve thrown everything else aside, to be picked up at whim. The internet is a time-trap and I’ve pried my foot away from it. I only make space outside of my work for Patreon. I make time outside of my cave for my patrons.
I enjoy puzzles and looking for the holes in things. I’m an introvert, but friendly. I’m a bit of a tech-nerd who loves notebooks and paper. I’m driven to learn and improve while always remaining a beginner. I’m a California native and have never lived anywhere else–though love I to travel and feel that one day I may start moving and never stop.
Over the years, I’ve written a few fairly popular pieces on reading, productivity, and not going paperless for places like Todoist & The Observer. My writing has been referenced by publications like Inc. and LifeHacker, and I have published one book of poetry called Erectile Dysfunction: Stunted Poems of Stilted Emotions.
